OAU PARLIAMENTARIAN CALL FOR THE SCRAPPING OF NANS
A member of the Parliament of Great Ife Students Union has call for the scrapping of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS). Moshood Olajide, the Parliamentarian representing Faculty of Social Sciences in OAU Students Union Representative has branded the leadership too corrupt and thuggery to lead Nigerian students. Moshood in his words said: NANS has outlived its purpose of establishment. It should be scrapped while the civil societies should stop identifying with them. He further question the leadership capacity of the current factions in NANS, The current factionalized leadership of the Association lack approximate sagacity and intellectual sophistry to delve in to ideological dynamism accompanying viciousness that characterize a multifarious geographical clan like Nigeria, Moshood said.
