Dede One Day To Be Buried On Febuary 13, 2016.

Late Nollywood actor, singer and comedian Dede One Day is to be buried on February 13, 2016.

Dede whose real name is Onwuzurike Ogubie will be laid to rest in his hometown – Umuagwuru Mbieri, Imo State, Nigeria.

The actor died in the early hours of Monday, December 14, 2015 after he had reportedly collapsed while anchoring an event.

An account of how he died says:

One Day anchored a program for One Mr Charles Esonu on Sunday in Aba, from there he went to Ugwunagbo for another event he was paid to anchor as Master of ceremony, but he couldn’t conclude that event as he fell sick and was rushed to hospital over blood pressure related issue and he died late in the night.

President Muhammadu Buhari will on Sunday, January 17, embark on a three-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In the course of the visit, President Buhari will join the Secretary General of the United Nations, Mr. Ban Ki Moon, Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan of Abu Dhabi and other participants as a special guest of honour at this year’s edition of the World Future Energy Summit. British Parliamentarians To Join BBOG Group’s Sit-out Today

British Parliamentarians are set to join the #BringBackOurGirls group for its sit-out today as an act of solidarity to the campaign for the rescue of the Chibok girls. According to a statement available from  the group and signed by strategic team member, Jeff Okoroafor, the group noted that today “ Wednesday, our movement shall be hosting some members of the British Parliament at Unity Fountain Abuja, 5pm; at a special sit-out session.” The statement added that all the parliamentarians, who are members of the International Development Committee – the committee with oversight responsibility for the Department for International Development (DFID) are expected at the sit-out.
