What is it about us as a people that we find it so hard to do the needful where applicable? The male restroom at the Nigerian embassy washington DC has been out of commission for a while and nobody in that consulate see the urgency of getting it fixed considering the number of applicants and visitors that comes there daily. I say again. What is with our psyche that love to thrive in midst of chaos and disorganization? Which way Nigerians?

President Muhammadu Buhari will on Sunday, January 17, embark on a three-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In the course of the visit, President Buhari will join the Secretary General of the United Nations, Mr. Ban Ki Moon, Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan of Abu Dhabi and other participants as a special guest of honour at this year’s edition of the World Future Energy Summit. The Summit which is now in its ninth year of existence has developed into one of the world’s most influential events dedicated to advancing future energy, energy efficiency and clean technologies. In a move signalling Nigeria's reengagement with the Middle-East region, President Buhari will also lead a team of his ministers to bilateral talks with the government of the UAE. British Parliamentarians To Join BBOG Group’s Sit-out Today

British Parliamentarians are set to join the #BringBackOurGirls group for its sit-out today as an act of solidarity to the campaign for the rescue of the Chibok girls. According to a statement available from  the group and signed by strategic team member, Jeff Okoroafor, the group noted that today “ Wednesday, our movement shall be hosting some members of the British Parliament at Unity Fountain Abuja, 5pm; at a special sit-out session.” The statement added that all the parliamentarians, who are members of the International Development Committee – the committee with oversight responsibility for the Department for International Development (DFID) are expected at the sit-out.
