FOR US AND BY US: DEAR NIGERIANS BY LURD BOUCH

Dear Nigerians,
Whatever besiges us today is not a one-man's fault. It is a collective failure of us Nigerians. It is our lack of thought for the future that has brought us to our knees. We have allowed our limited oil producing capacity take over our richly blessed diversified money making mentality, our culture is fading, our tourist centers are giving way. We have kept quiet at the many ills ran within the system, especially from the rulling class, forgetting that Nigeria is for us, Nigerians, and that we will one day die but Nigeria would remain and our children would be called Nigerians. We have planned to fail.
It is so sad that those who have looted the country n stacked them in foreign reserves did so without thinking of the dead effect such would have on Nigeria.
See! Some Mexicans are drug lords but of every hit made, it developes Mexico, some Americans are high crime hitters but whatever money gotten from such, circulates within their system, Russia forbids high imports but highly exports armouries, Saudi Arabia doesn't sell their properties to foreigners, they lease it. Most world economy do not help others develop without first developing themselves internally. Afteeall, We should love our neighbours LIKE ourselves, not 'more' and like they say ''success begins from within''
It is sad to see how Nigerians stack up cash in foreign reserves while her economy beg, we rather buy a pencil 'made in china' than a book 'made in Nigeria' Everything imported is the best, while they (developed economy), crave highly for that which we despise - A shame.
Well, there's no time to lament over these. ‪#‎IT_IS_TIME‬ to take the bull by its horn. #IT_IS_TIME to begin an internally ran economy.
For those our brothers who have stacked our wealth in other peoples country, #IT_IS_TIME to embrace patriotism, we have a Central Bank, we don't 'mind' that you've stolen, we love you but, #IT_IS_TIME to transfer those monies back, stack them in Nigeria, develop this country, not just for you but the generations after.
‪#‎I_Believe_in_Nigeria‬.... #IT_IS_TIME to ‪#‎Say_No‬ to unpatriotism, ‪#‎Say‬_No to high imports. ‪#‎Say_Yes_to_a‬ better_future. Only us, Nigerians can rescue Nigeria, LET'S BEGIN!
I am ‪#‎Made_in_Nigeria‬.
