PERSONAL DISCOVERIES ABOUT BOKO HARAM, ITS VICTIMS AND COMBATANTS . By : APENA IBRAHIM ADEBOYE

This write up is based on a personal information gathered from some security personnels and a lot of Boko Haram (BH) victims at Maiduguri,under the umbrella of MCAN. Names of informants are withheld but anyone who doubts can leave the comfort of his/her bedroom to make a better research at Maiduguri or any BH affected area within and outside Nigeria.

Personally, the writer realized Maiduguri is more beautiful than some States in the Southern part of Nigeria. It was initially thought that the whole of maiduguri must have been bombed with the way media carried BH related news but the State turned out to be a beautiful State, currently under a highly intensive security protection, though some villages were empty but the main city is pretty normal.

THE DISCOVERIES

Nigerian military is stronger than BH but Why it seems BH is powerful is because ; until early 2015, government did not provide the rightful force with adequate & sophisticated weapons and motivation to combat Boko Haram. That was the complain made by most of the military persons interviewed , yet billions were written in budget for security purpose.

The most populated Internally Displace Peoples' (IDP) camp in Nigeria has over 22,000 people as at 17th of January , 2016.

Some Military persons , police , SSS among other security persons use to be followers of the former BH leader (Muhammed Yusuf) before BH turned out to be a dreadful organization.

Almost all the schools in maiduguri has been converted to Internally Displace Peoples, Camp.

BH members fled into Sambisa not as a result of the effort of the military but as a result of the effort of those they lived with who started pointing at them or reporting them to the rightful authorities. Though BH retaliated by causing havoc to communities where their members were exposed.

Some government officers were aware and sponsored BH.

When farmers reported that helicopters were dropping weapons in sambisa, less was done about it.

While leaving maiduguri , Its believe that some BH members were caught.

BH started under the umbrella of Islam but it was hijacked and turned into a group of terror who are not doing anything close to the doctrine of Islam.

There are Over 22,000 displaced persons in the largest IDP camp in Nigeria, majority of these people do not understand English or Hausa but kanuri.

It is perceived and purported by most people that Boko Haram is a Muslim organization but it's very surprising to see that about 95% of the inhabitants of the displaced people's Camp in Dalori are Muslims (fact can be confirmed at the camp). Male youths are very few, There are a lot of children, elderly men and women.

Religious clerics who spoke against BH were killed by BH.

Maiduguri is already becoming a peaceful State , there are no signs of BH members and there are military , police and Civilian checkpoints after almost every 20 minutes drive. There are equally military persons in sambisa forest.

CONCLUSION FROM FINDINGS.
💣Some govt officers during the immediate past administration might be the financiers of BH just to syphoned money for security which they believe can not be accounted for (‪#‎Dasukigate‬) is a perfect example.

💣Majority in the IDP camp complained of heart problems and recurrent headache. This seem to be signs of heart attack.

💣The question is simple , if Boko Haram have been attacking only Non Muslims , how come about 95% of those displaced in the most populated IDP camp in Nigeria are Muslims. Muslims shouldn't have suffered from them at all. This reaffirms the fact that not only non Muslims were victimized by BH, a lot of Muslims were victimized.

💣If Boko Harams are fighting for Islam or Allah , why would they victimize Muslims. Thus , BH is unislamic , though the master minders hid under the umbrella of Islam to confuse some uneducated and jobless youths into terrorism.

💣Joblessness was among the factors that lead a lot of youths into terrorism.

💣Those advocating for officials who diverted funds for security should visit any IDP camp to see how they are suffering and rethink.

💣BH caused terror to humanity in general , Both Muslims and Non Muslims suffered from BH. We have to see BH as enemies to humanity and not a Muslim body fighting non Muslims.

RECOMMENDATIONS TO GOVT and Others.
1. Government should urgently increase its humanitarian services at IDP camps
2. Experts in psychological counseling should be deployed to counsel individuals exposed to this dreadful experience
3. Temporary schools should be erected to occupy the minds of children especially beyond 12 Years.
4. Initiation of special health welfare package for the elderly and breastfeeding mothers.
5. Erection of more tents as overcrowding increases chances of infection contraction.
6. Considering the amount of those victimized by BH, all those who diverted Arms' fund should be made to pay for exposing the lifes of Nigerians to danger.
7. Establishment of religious institutions to reinstall morals into the minds of the displaced persons.
8. Potential visitors should go with babies product for those reproducing in the camp.
9. Dominant Religious Advisers should be appointed by govt to investigate and discourage any form of extremism and terrorism before it escalates.
10. There should be further investigation of the arm deals that were made during the immediate past administration.
11. Govt should provide special security for those who speak against terrorism.
12. Visitors to IDP camps should remember to make recommendations to subsequent visitors.
13. There are so many IDP camps in Nigeria which can be visited, there are some in maiduguri , Abuja , Platue , Edo e.t.c.

Though my life might be endangered because of this write up, however , I believe this is worth doing to clear some misconceptions about Muslims $ terrorism and Forster unity in Nigeria. I submit my life to the will of Allah (God).

As earlier stated , the above conclusions are based on information gathered from primary sources, not from media. Anyone who has a contrary view should empirically dismiss this post by going to Maiduguri or State(s) affected by BH to gather facts.
