Dj Humility Holds Arik Air Staffs Hostage Over Delayed Flight

Popular DJ Humility, dropped the beautiful attribute in his name when he joined other passengers to hold staffs of Arik Air hostage over their delayed flight. The disc jockey was left strandedafter booking for a 2pm flight through Arik Air from Kaduna to Lagos on Sunday.He shared a footage of the staffs that were all forced behind their counter by passengers and wrote; “Arik air is seriously messed up!! We have been in the airport since 1pm, our flight was meant to takeoff by 2pm from Kaduna to Lagos…. This is almost 9pm we are still here and this crazy officials ain’t showing any concern leaving everyone stranded here.. They do this because they always get away with it but tonightthat shitss gonna stop!!!!! WE ARE HUMANS!!!”,The flight eventually left by 12:52am and the Dj shared another video where he vent his anger for missing out on business due to his delayed trip. He ended the video by raining curses in his local dialect on the popular airline.

Gov. Nasir El-Rufa’i of Kaduna State said on Friday that the government, Bank of Industry, business tycoon Aliko Dangote and some states will acquire the Peugeot Automobile Nigeria Ltd (PAN). El-Rufa’i who said this during the state’s special day at the ongoing 37th Kaduna International Trade Fair, named the other states as Katsina, Kebbi and Jigawa. Senate moves to enforce patronage of local goods

THE Senate, Wednesday adopted a motion seeking the amendment of the Procurement Act to compel all government agencies and institutions to give maximum priority to patronising locally made products. Adopting a two prayer motion moved by Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe (PDP Abia South) titled “Need For Patronisation of Made-in-Nigeria Goods,” the Senate urged the Federal Government to initiate and implement the first option policy on purchase of locally manufactured goods for any government procurement in all arms of government and every public funded organisation. It also urged both the National Assembly to amend the Procurement Act to ensure that as a matter of law, agencies of government and government funded institutions adopt ‘the made-in-Nigeria’ goods first option policy and where consideration is first given to the local industry before any other.
