Sex robots or sex bots are anthropomorphic robot sex dolls. As of 2018, although elaborately instrumented sex dolls have been created by a number of inventors, no fully functioning sex robots exist. Yet the question remains why it is called a sex robot. Sex is an intercourse with any living thing, while masturbation is an intercourse with any non-living thing and this brings us to the question, Is robot a living thing? According to Scientists at Sythentic Organism and Living Machine "In order for a robot to be considered alive, it needs to be driven by its own interest and not by a human determined program."
The verdict: According to science and it's definition of sex, there is a big difference between sex and masturbation, scientist have also proven that a robot that have to accept instructions before functioning cannot be classified as a living thing. I thing it is wrong to call it sex robot but rather, a masturbation robot.
