Some children have become addicted to technological devices including computers, video games, internet, and social networking. Therefore, it is the sole responsibility of parents to ensure that they are knowledgeable on the potential negative aspects of technology use, as well as how it can be used in a responsible manner.  Therefore, technology should aid proper parenting if parents gets involved in how their children are using technology positively and productively.  However, it is nearly impracticable for parents to control everything that their children are exposed to through technological use. However, it is recommended to install parental control programs and filter software on children’s computers and other devices. Nonetheless, this is not a foolproof solution to controlling all that children are exposed to, since children can access the internet from anywhere using smart phones, laptops, and tablets. Sex robots or sex bots are anthropomorphic robot sex dolls. As of 2018, although elaborately instrumented sex dolls have been created by a number of inventors, no fully functioning sex robots exist. Yet the question remains why it is called a   sex robot . Sex is an intercourse with any living thing, while masturbation is an intercourse with any non-living thing and this brings us to the question, Is robot a living thing? According to Scientists at   Sythentic   Organism and Living Machine   "In order for a  robot  to be considered alive, it needs to be driven by its own interest and not by a human determined program." The verdict: According to science and it's definition of sex, there is a big difference between sex and masturbation, scientist have also proven that a robot that have to accept instructions before functioning cannot be classified as a living thing. Yes, Nigeria is undergoing bloodless change in its givernment, sorry if I dashed you hope, it's April fool extra.

Whenever hailers in the APC boast victory without Tinubu or that PMB already have 13 million vote, I laugh knowing some of them are baby politicians, I have said it on social media a number of time that any party that would win Buhari would only need to stop him from winning two third with an alternative formula and without Tinubu on his side. The APC NEC was the bait, it had been bought and it would only take a well orchestrated party coup to win Buhari and send him parking from Aso rock. The plan was hatched by Saraki, Atiku and host of others in collaboration with APC NEC, they decided to play smart by supporting the party chairman and by clamouring for an automatic extension of office against the due process stipulated in the party and Nigeria's constitution. Their well orchestrated plan almost played out when president Buhari went against Tinubu warning and elongated the tenure of Oyegun (illegally). The political compost are sure of success, they were sure an ill...

Fluid-filled channels may cushion our organs CNRI/SCIENCE PHOTO LIBRARY A newly discovered network of fluid-filled channels in the human body may be a previously-unknown organ, and it seems to help transport cancer cells around the body. This discovery was made by chance, from routine endoscopies – a procedure that involves inserting a thin camera into a person’s gastrointestinal tract. Newer approaches enable doctors to use this procedure to get a microscopic look at the tissue inside a person’s gut at the same time, with some surprising results.   One team had expected to find that the bile duct is surrounded by a hard, dense wall of tissue. But instead, they saw weird, unexplained patterns. They took their findings to  Neil Theise , a pathologist at New York University School of Medicine. Shock absorbers When Theise used the same endomicroscopy device to look under the skin of his own nose, he saw a similar result. Further investigation of other...

Sergei Mavrodi smiles after being released from prison in Moscow in May 2007. Russian businessman Sergei Mavrodi, whose MMM pyramid scheme deprived millions of Russians of their savings in the 1990s, has died of a heart attack, according to Russia media. Reports said the 62-year-old was rushed to the hospital late on March 25 with pain in his chest and died several hours later. Mavrodi's MMM financial pyramid was a typical Ponzi scheme in which earlier investors receive their profits from subsequent investors. Mavrodi promised returns of 20 percent to 75 percent a month, as well as lotteries and bonuses for investors. As soon as the number of new clients stopped growing, the pyramid collapsed, causing huge financial losses for at least 10 million people, in some cases leaving them destitute. In 1994, Mavrodi was elected as a lawmaker, a decision he later said was to ensure he received immunity from prosecution. In 1996, he lost his parliamentary mandate. I...

Saudi forces intercepted seven Yemeni rebel missiles on Sunday, including over the capital Riyadh. "This aggressive and hostile action by the Iran-backed Houthi group proves that the Iranian regime continues to support the armed group with military capabilities," Arab Coalition spokesman Turki al-Malki said. "The firing of multiple ballistic missiles towards cities is a serious development." Witnesses confirmed to Al Arabiya loud explosions and bright flashes in the sky. A video sent to Al Arabiya shows what appears to be the moment anti-defense missiles were fired from Saudi Patriot batteries to intercept the Houthi missile over the capital. Since November, Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi militias have fired multiple missiles into Saudi Arabia, all of which Saudi forces have intercepted.

Facebook has been collecting call records and SMS data from Android devices for years. Several Twitter users have reported finding months or years of call history data in their downloadable Facebook data file. A number of Facebook users have been spooked by the recent Cambridge Analytica privacy scandal, prompting them to download all the data that Facebook stores on their account. The results have been alarming for some. “Oh wow my deleted Facebook Zip file contains info on every single phone cellphone call and text I made for about a year,” says ‏Twitter user Mat Johnson. Another, Dylan McKay, says “somehow it has my entire call history with my partner’s mum.” Others have found a similar pattern where it appears close contacts, like family members, are the only ones tracked in Facebook’s call records. Ars Technica  reports that Facebook has been requesting access to contacts, SMS data, and call history on Android devices to improve i...
